Prof. Rym Ayadi, President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA) and Professor at Bayes Business School, City St George, University of London, participated in the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), held from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in Seville, Spain.
In response to the key messages emerging from FfD4, Prof. Ayadi issued a public statement titled “A New Vision for Financing Development: Regenerative, Inclusive, and Future-Ready.” The statement calls for a bold shift in the global financial paradigm—anchored in values, designed for impact, and aimed at empowering people and restoring the planet. Organised by the United Nations and hosted by the Government of Spain, #FfD4 is the foremost global platform for shaping the future of development finance—bringing together heads of state, ministers, international organisations, development banks, and the private sector to advance solutions for sustainable and inclusive growth.
