The 2019 EBA Policy Research Workshop took place in Paris on 27-28.11.19. Prof. Rym Ayadi, President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, and Chair of the Banking Stakeholders Group of the European Banking Authority, participated at the panel to discuss a paper on “The Disciplining Effect of Supervisory Scrutiny in the EU-wide Stress Test” co-authored by Christoffer Kok, Carola Müller and Cosimo Pancaro.

The President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA,  and Director of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES, Prof. Rym Ayadi, participated at the Mediterranean Energy Debate on “The challenge of local energy governance: the model of the MED Efficient Buildings Community”. The event was organised with the support of the Interreg Mediterranean Programme and under the patronage of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), and took place on October 10 in Brussels, under the umbrella of the European Week of Regions and Cities.

The Director of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies – EMNES and President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA, Prof. Rym Ayadi, participated at the 2019 Annual conference of the MED Confederation “The Mediterranean in the Era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution: the impact of digitalization on human capital and mobility” which took place at the Bardo National Museum in Tunis. The conference started with the welcoming address of H.E. Mr. Ridha Chalghoum, Minister of Finances, Government of the Tunisian Republic.
