This statement, titled “Regeneration: From Theory to Application – Building a Resilient Future on Brain and Nature Capital,” is based on Prof. Rym Ayadi’s contribution to the Policy Session “Regeneration: From Theory to Application” at the EMANES Annual Conference 2025, held on 11 December 2025 at EMEA HQs, Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau in Barcelona. The Policy Session constituted the strategic core of the Conference, convening policymakers, researchers and practitioners to examine how regenerative economic thinking — integrating brain capital and nature capital — can be translated into actionable policy, governance frameworks and financing mechanisms across Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa.
